Steven K. Walters – Owner and President

Steve Walters, the Owner and President of Justus Property Management, Inc., has been involved in the property management business since 1982. Over the years, Mr. Walters has earned the Institute Of Real Estate Management (IREM) designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM). IREM is composed of the leaders in the residential, commercial and industrial management sector of the business and is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. The CPM designation is the most prestigious in the property management business. In addition to receiving his CPM, Steve is a past President of the Institute’s Northern Indiana Chapter #100, which serves the Northern third of the State of Indiana, including the Fort Wayne and South Bend geographic areas.

Steve has also served four terms as the State President of the Rural Rental Housing Association of Indiana (RRHA of IN). RRHA of IN represents owners and management agents who manage and develop rural-development-financed, multi-family rental housing, of which many utilize Section 42 Tax Credits as well as HUD Section 8 assistance. Steve is a project developer in the Section 42 Indiana tax credit program as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Indiana.

Steve is a graduate of Nappanee High School in Nappanee, Indiana as well as a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mitchell L. Walters – Vice President

Mitch Walters, the Vice President of Justus Property Management, Inc., has been involved in the property management business since 2008. Mitch received his Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certificate in the fall of 2008 and today oversees the operations of Justus. Mitch is a project developer in the Section 42 Indiana tax credit program as well as a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Indiana.

Prior to joining Justus in June of 2008, Mitch spent seven years in the banking industry as a business lender with LaSalle and Key Bank. In 2005 Mitch was one of the top two business banking lenders for Key Bank in the entire United States.

Mitch is a graduate of NorthWood High School in Nappanee, Indiana as well as a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Donna S. Corbin – General Manager

Donna Corbin, the General Manager of Justus Property Management, Inc., has been involved in the property management industry since 1983 starting as an on-site manager for a 221 unit HUD property located in Indianapolis. In 1986 she became a Regional Property Manager covering over 30 properties throughout Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky.

Donna has been at Justus since December 1989. Since that time Justus has grown from 10 properties to over 70 properties. During her tenure at Justus she has had the privilege of creating all of the original forms, policies and procedures, purchasing computers, software and setting up each department from the very beginning to its current format. Donna has also been involved with the growth of not only the portfolio but the corporate staff. In Donna’s current position as General Manager she continues to be involved with the day-to-day operations of all aspects of Justus.

Donna is currently Secretary of the Affordable Housing Association of Indiana (AHAIN), formerly RRHA of IN, and on the association’s Education and Management Committees.

Donna currently holds the following designations: "Certified Assisted Housing Manager" (CHM), "Certified Occupancy Specialist" (COS), “Certified Financial Manager” (CFM), “Certified Manager of Maintenance” (CMM) and “Certified Credit Compliance Professional” (C⁹P).
